Your dentist at our Monifieth practice is Dr Stephen Beattie, a friendly Irishman who believes that putting patients at ease should be at the centre of all dental care. Originally from County Tyrone, he qualified from Dundee University in 2004 and loves the area so much that he decided to stay.

Stephen is already a very experienced and accomplished dentist who believes that good dentists are able to help patients most by making them as comfortable as possible.

He also has a huge appetite for learning and attends as many dentistry courses as possible to bring new skills and techniques to Monifieth.

Bringing Ideal Dental Care to Monifieth and having a dentist sharing premises with an optician is the brainchild of optometrist and owner Ameen Sattar.

“We have built a reputation for the quality of optical healthcare and I identified a gap in the market to bring the same level of dental care under the same roof,” he said.

“I look forward to welcoming new and existing patients to our practice to see the future of healthcare provision in Monifieth.”

It is Ideal Dental Care’s first dental practice in Scotland. There are already four other Ideal Dental Care practices in Sheffield, Cleveleys, Fleetwood and Poulton-le-Fylde.
